August 21, 2008 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #18 Item Title C-17 Memorandum of Agreement between the School Board of Clay County and the Baker County Health Department regarding the Baker County Mobile Dental Bus Issue/Rationale To provide dental services to Clay County students, via mobile units which will be located throughout the month at WEC, WES, KHE and GCSJH, thereby reducing the incidence of dental disease by providing an effective preventative and treatment program.  This program effectively eliminates the barriers which exist for many families seeking the care of a dentist:  transportation problems, lace of information on how often children should be seen for check-ups, and time away from the job. Recommended Action Approve the Memorandum of Agreement between the School Board of Clay County and the Baker County Health Department regarding the Baker County Mobile Dental Bus as submitted.
